On June 10, 2017, Dana Adkins and I, on behalf of Charleston Pro Bono Legal Services, presented a seminar explaining family court procedure to pro se litigants.  The intent is to repeat this seminar throughout the state and repeat it on occasion locally (as the population of pro se litigants is ever changing).  Materials below.  Feel free to circulate (with attribution please):

I am a pro se litigant fighting a family law case in the Supreme Court of South Carolina. My writ of certiorari was granted, would you have experience with the Supreme Court and if so, be willing to guide me to the rules to clarify if my brief is supposed to be constructed the same as the Writ or can I venture and make other supporting arguments and statements?
